GAY TIPS: The Below The Belt Grooming Guide ]
The Below The Belt Grooming Guide
Article By Lee Kynaston
Ten years ago ‘downstairs’ grooming was pretty much the final frontier in terms of keeping up appearances. But with the recent growth of interest in manscaping, all eyes have shifted southwards in the pursuit of neat and tidy nether regions.
So much so that, according to a recent survey by Gillette, one in five men now sport a close trim down below (though given that the survey also showed that 92 per cent of women prefer a man with a tidy trunk line, the other four fifths might want to consider some pubic topiary, too).
In fact, a whole industry has developed around keeping men’s tackles clean and fresh, so grooming below the belt isn’t so much an eyebrow-raising oddity, as a practice you should probably consider taking up.
So, here’s everything you wanted to know about ‘down below’ grooming but were too afraid to ask.
Shaving Private Ryan
Next to the popularity of beards, I can’t think of another grooming trend that’s proved as popular as the removal of body hair (also known as ‘manscaping’), especially in the pubic area.
There are lots of reasons for this – trends in porn, pressure from partners and the fabled ‘optical inch’ pubic hair removal supposedly provides have all been cited – but the bottom line is that some men just prefer the way it looks and feels.
“Hair-free skin can certainly feel cooler and fresher, and also helps to reduce body odour, especially during hot and humid weather,” says body waxing expert Andy Rouillard, owner of Axiom Men’s Grooming Salon. “As for anything below the belt; nobody likes to see sideburns poking out the side of a pair of trunks, do they?”

5 Trends To Master For SS15
From vibrant orange outerwear to suits with trainers, 2014 has been a year for breaking new ground in menswear.
As we close the doors on 2014 and dive head first into the start of a new ‘fashion season’, we thought it fitting to highlight the five key trends you need to be familiar with for spring/summer 2015…
1. Statement Stripes
A mainstay of both the casual and formal sides of our wardrobe, stripes are (as usual) expected to be big news for SS15.
The stripe was given pride of place in collections from Gucci and Jonathan Saunders to Casely-Hayford and Emporio Armani, where they were applied to a wide variety of garments including both tailored staples like smart trousers and shirts, as well as more relaxed jumpers and accessories.
With stripes a perennial spring/summer trend, there will be no shortage of options this year. If you already own a classic Breton top, our recommendation would be to branch out into striped tailoring, legwear (shorts or trousers) or knitwear. Also consider opting for a thicker block-stripes or bold coloured motifs in order to bring a modern twist to this timeless pattern.
To put stripes into practice, try teaming your essential Breton tee with a pair of tailored chino shorts and loafers for an off-duty, summer-ready look, switching to slim pinstripe trousers, a navy two-button blazer, white shirt and monk-straps for something that’s more evening-appropriate.
Note: Before you rush out and purchase, it’s worth remembering that different stripes will have different effects on your overall size and shape. Horizontal stripes tend to make you look wider by breaking up the vertical silhouette, while vertical stripes draw the eye down quickly, giving the illusion of length/height. With this in mind, if you’re short and squat, you’re better off avoiding the former, while lankier gentlemen would do well to stay away from the latter.

NEWS: Three Gay Men Attended a Wedding as Grooms
Three Gay Men Attended a Wedding as Grooms…And Married Each Other!
By: Joy Adalia
It was something that was straight out of their own dreams: a fairytale wedding attended by family and friends.
But the bride and groom are like no other because they are of the same sex: males! However, the peculiarity of this wedding does not stop with the couple’s gender because the binding ceremony was not just between two people but three!
This is the story of three gay Thai men: Joke, Art, and Bell.
Many might not take them seriously, especially because of their names, yet they all love each other. Now, same-sex relationships are frowned upon in Thailand but the three have managed to live a wonderful life together despite the stigma.
Twenty-nine-year old Joke and 26-year-old Art were the first to meet and start a relationship back in 2010. They soon moved in together.
It was quite some time before they met 21-year-old Bell. They soon came to a realization that they also love Bell. It was not as if they were cheating on one another because the two of them fell in love with Bell who also confessed to having mutual feelings with the two.
Their love was tested when Bell was hospitalized due to a congenital condition. However, instead of pulling them apart, the experience only strengthened their resolve to love each other. Joke and Art proposed the idea of a three-way marriage and decided to ask Bell’s parents for his hand in marriage. Though the request was quite weird, the parents agreed as they saw just how dedicated Joke and Art had been to Bell.
Thailand’s marriage restrictions prevented the three’s union but they soon found a way to get married by undertaking the ceremony under Buddhist law.
The ceremony included promises to share their home and responsibilities as well as declaring their vows to love one another. Although they understand that the marriage is not really legally recognized in Thailand, the three are not bothered.

NEWS:Bench - Gay Couple Ad Controversy
Was the Gay Couple Controversy Actually Faked by Bench to Create a Buzz?
By: Joy Adalia
By now, you have probably have seen all sorts of versions for the viral #PaintTheirHandsBack campaign for the gay couple’s picture of Bench’s “Love All Kinds Of Love”. You have probably said your piece about the issue or even painted the couple’s hands to join the campaign.
But with so much going on in this campaign, some people are questioning whether Bench had just faked the controversy so the ad will create a buzz [and the company will be the talk of town for days, of course].
