Originally located in Malate, O Bar in Ortigas Home Depot is a welcome addition to the slew of bars in the area. The first gay bar in Ortigas (or so we’ve been told), O Bar’s Saturday nights are not to be missed. Whether you are gay or straight, you will love the high ceiling and elevated ledges where the famed “go-go” boys dance shirtless, exposing their six-pack glory. Given that the gay club scene has been known to discover the best house and techno geniuses, O Bar subsequently attracts patrons far and wide for their impeccable selection of dance music.
Throughout the night, resident tranny divas will dominate the stage for an amazing show that will keep you entertained. So popular have these shows become that a number of celebrity fag-hags have even been spotted in the audience (read: Anne Curtis and Divine Lee). If anything, O Bar is the kind of alternative place to bond with friends while enjoying good music and exceptional entertainment.
